Consulting Services: Job Analysis
Job analyses are a critical part of an effective, targeted training curriculum. Unfortunately, conventional forms of job analysis—one-on-one interviewing, data collection sheets, surveys, observation, procedural analysis, and multi-day focus group sessions with subject matter experts—are expensive and time-consuming. Intrepid’s experts have developed a better way. Our Job Analysis at the Speed of Reality (JASR) methodology allows completion of a validated task list in just two to three hours per job position.
These tools allow organizations to target learning interventions and create developmental roadmaps for each job position. In the area of competency modeling, the job analysis process often identifies similar competencies across multiple positions within an organization. This can greatly enhance training operational efficiencies: content can be created or bought once, customized and used for multiple audiences.
